Diego and Mauro, who lead the Brazilian office, brought home the first ever Pharma Gold Lion for Brazil and are regularly jury members at the major global awards. “ | Diego started his carrier at a traditional print company in Brazil, where he discovered his love for design and visual arts. He then went on to study economics, but decided to give this up to blaze new trails. After a time in Madrid, he came to Lisbon, where he joined his first IPG Health agency. During his post-graduate studies at the Lisbon Ad School he worked as a freelancer in London and Lisbon. He then spent two years at digital and guerrilla agencies. Just before he was named one of the top 3 ADs in Portugal, he returned to Brazil as Country Manager for the FunnyHow? agency, working with brands such as Guinness, Desperados, Nintendo, Teva, Pfizer and Durex. In 2015, Diego took over the leadership of the creative department at Havas Life São Paulo, where he won gold and silver at Cannes, as well as two gold awards at Clio Health and awards from The One Show and Epica festivals. He was a jury member at the Cannes Lions in 2017. Along with Mauro, Diego was responsible for Parkinsounds, the only project ever to receive a Cannes award in both the Pharma and Entertainment categories.” |

“ | Mauro has a 20+ year-experience as a senior copywriter, creative director, CCO and CEO, leading communication projects for major health & wellness brands in Brazil and LATAM. Following a solid experience in Rx, OTC and consumer brands while running his own creative boutique in São Paulo, Mauro joined Havas Health in 2008 to co-found the Havas Life LATAM hub, where he acted as Managing Director and CCO until mid 2018. Among his creative recognitions are Cannes Lions, CLIO Health, LIAA, Epica and The One Show in areas such as pharma, mobile, digital, music and audio technique. Mauro was a member of the inaugural Lions Health jury in 2014 and a speaker at the 2016 edition. He has also been a jury member at the CLIOs and the Medical Marketing & Media Awards, and will be part of the Executive Jury at the Global Awards 2018. Along with Diego, he was responsible for the first gold lion ever deliverd to a LATAM IPG Health agency with the Parkinsounds.” |
